IMGP1143 copy      Davit Khomeriki (date of birth 1.12.1960) – Vice-colonel, Chief forensic of Forensic-Criminalistic Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. He has 29 years experience of working  as a forensic expert. In 1988-1995 he was non-staff forensic expert of the Forensic Center of the Ministry of Justice.  In 1995-2005, he was chief specialist of Fire Research Center of the Fire-Prevention Main Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. Since 2005, he is a head of Fire Forensic Sub Division of Forensic-Criminalistic Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. Davit Khomeriki  is also a specialist of various research methods  of metal micro structures such as metallography, x-ray structural analysis, scanning and transmission electron microscopy. In 2002-2009, he was an active member of the International Association of Arson Investigation (IAAI); in  2007-2015, he also was a full member of the  American Academy of Forensic Sciences.   Since 2011,  he is a volunteer at the American Association of Advance Sciences (AAAS); since 2012,  he is a member of the boarding committee of Mediterranean Academy of Forensic Science (MAFS). Since 2015, Davit Khomeriki is an Honorary member of the World Association of Woman Forensic Experts (WAWFE). Since 2012,  his data is in OSCE expert database. Since 2016,  he is an advisory member of the Global Youth Academy of Advancement Forensics (GYAAF).

  Guram Rostiashvili – Associate Professor of Grigol Robakidze University. Guram Rostiashvili was born in Tbilisi on November21, 1981. 2002 – graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. He was awarded the Bachelor’s Degree and qualification of expert chemist. 2002-2003 – worked as a policeman at the Transport Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.2004-2006 – worked at first as an intern and then as a expert in the Department of Chemical Expertise at the National Forensic Bureau of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia. 2006-2008 – specialist at the Forensic Crminalistic Main Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, then expert of fingerprint analysis and files. 2007-2008 – passed theoretical and practical course of preparing a criminalist at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. He is certified by the Forensic Science Consulting & Technical Assistance in Case Documentation Seminar and Evidence Packaging Seminar. 2008 – present – founder and head of the Georgian Independent Forensic Research Centre of Non- Entrepreneurial Legal Entity. 2011 – graduated the Faculty of Law of Guram Tavartkiladze University, Criminal Law and Criminal Law Procedure; was awarded Master’s Degree and qualification of lawyer. 2012-2013 academic year – started working as a teacher at the School of Criminalistics of Grigol Robakidze University (invited specialist). He delivers course in finger prints and forensic photography. 2014 – was elected as an Associate Professor of forensic sciences at Grigol Robakidze University.  2015 – was elected as a member of dissertation Council. Guram Rostiashvili has published three scientific works. Besides native language, he knows Russian and English languages.

Gia Dekanozishvili – Doctor of Law, Professor of the School of Law of Grigol Robakidze University, member of the Dissertation Board, head of the Laboratory of Criminalistics. Gia Dekanozishvili was born in Tbilisi on February 18, 1982. In 1984 he graduated from the faculty of Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering of the Politechnical Institute of Georgia. He was awarded the qualification of engineer, teacher of modern technologies. In 1984 he started to work at Tbilisi Technical College No 38. He delivered lectures in Informaics and Modern Technologies. From 1986 to 1992 he worked in the Department of Special Electric Technologies of the State Politechnical Institute. At first he was scientific worker, then senior scientific worker. At that period he implemented modern scientific technologies. During 1898-1992 he was the applicant for a scientific degree at E. O. Paton Institute of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, expert of special electric technologies. In 1992 he started to work in the teaching centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at first as a teacher of special operative technique, and then he was appointed on the position of a senior teacher. At this time he participated in the war for territorial integrity of Georgia. He is a veteran of war and military forces. In 2001 he graduated from the Police Academy and was awarded the qualification of a lawyer.
